The natural gas resource and its consumption situation, especially the status quo of power generation using natural gas, have been analysed, the unique superiority of steam and natural gas Combined Cycle power generation having been briefly discussed. And an overview of projects regarding liquified natural gas (ING) and ING combined cycle power plants in Guangdong Province, China are presented.
