The Influence of the Songze Cultural Ornamentation on the Liangzhu Culture

摘要 崧泽文化和良渚文化在不同的社会形态基础上,各自发展出一套独特的纹饰系统。崧泽文化的纹饰以刻划在陶器上的编织纹为主,显示出一种自然朴实的"崧泽风格"。而良渚文化的刻纹玉器自始至终是以神人兽面纹为主题,力图表现某种抽象的思想和观念,表达的是非日常普通事物,兹名之为"良渚模式"。看似两个完全不同的纹饰系统,在经过分析和比对之后,显示有些纹饰或组成元素前后相承,在陶器、玉器上交替使用,甚至演变成为一种符号,其象征的内涵意义也随之转变,对于探索中华文明的起源具有重要的学术价值。 Songze and Liangzhu were two archaeological cultures active in Taihu area in late Neolithic period. They had different ornamentation systems formed in their respective social formations. While potteries of the Songze Culture were mainly ornamented with simple knitting patterns, jades of the Liangzhu Culture had'deity and animal mask'representing some abstract ideas and concepts beyond the secular world as their major motif. The two seemingly different ornamentation systems, however, show some connection of inheritance between demonstrated by some of the composing patterns or elements, which were alternatingly seen in potteries and jades. Some of these patterns became symbols containing changed meanings. To compare these two cultures to explore the correlations between is of great academic value to the study of the origins of Chinese civilization.
