服饰类藏品是传统陈列中最难以展示的一类藏品,亟待引入数字手段,以便更好地保护、展示和研究藏品。随着信息技术的快速发展,运用虚拟现实技术、网络技术构建虚拟服饰博物馆,打破实体博物馆的局限性,扩展服饰博物馆的延伸空间,最大限度的拓展其功能,以便满足社会大众的多层次多方位的需求。对江浙沪地区民族服饰博物馆现状的考察需要从我国民族服饰特征、数字化展示现状、未来展示技术、发展前景等方面进行,这样的考察研究有利于民族服饰博物馆积极有效地解决未来生存问题,对加强民族服饰文化的保护和传承有着重要意义。

Costumes and accessories are one of the most challenging categories to be displayed by traditional methods, which calls for the application of digital solutions. The development of information science has made it possible to build virtual museums by virtual reality and web technologies, which breaks the limitations of physical museums by broadening the exhibition space and adding new functions and enables the diverse needs of audiences to be met. The investigations into the ethnic costume museums in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai have taken into account the features of Chinese ethnic costumes, the current situations of digital displaying, and the future development. These investigations are believed to benefit the ethnic costume museums regarding their sustainable development and are valuable to the protection and inheritance of ethnic costume cultures in China.
