国际性临时展览的跨文化阐释方法初探

A Discussion on the Intercultural Interpretation of International Temporary Exhibitions

在文化复兴国家战略背景下,我国与他国之间的文化交流愈发密切,作为公共文化服务机构的博物馆也需要以更加开放的姿态致力于推动国际文化的相互理解与沟通。国际性临时展览自身具有特殊性,目前存在博物馆未能帮助观众构建背景知识、展览难以构建有利于观众认知的文化语境、展览呈现方式无法激励观众的学习兴趣等问题,因此应该通过系统的阐释方法将陌生的异域文化在不同的文化语境中有效传播。博物馆跨文化阐释有三种方法:思维转化、语境构建与互动交流。同时,跨文化阐释在帮助公众构建新的认知模式、引起观众情感共鸣以及增强公众文化认同和文化自信等方面具有重要意义。

China’s national strategy of cultural rejuvenation has greatly boosted the cultural exchanges with other countries,which requires Chinese museums as public cultural institutions to be more open to international cultural communication and understanding.International temporary exhibitions as a peculiar type of museum exhibitions are currently faced with the following challenges:the museum fails to help the audience build background knowledge;the exhibition hardly provides a cultural context conducive to the audience;and the display methods cannot stimulate the audience’s interest in learning.To meet the challenges,it is suggested to have systematic interpretation of foreign cultures that are unfamiliar to local audience and to present them within specific cultural contexts.The article concludes three ways of intercultural interpretation:converting the way of thinking,building the context,and making interactive communication.Intercultural interpretation is of great importance in helping the public build new cognitive models,evoking their emotional resonance,and enhancing their cultural identity and cultural confidence.
