摘要
语言是文化的表现形式,谚语是语言的精华,反映了民族的文化特点。本文通过比较汉英谚语的异同,探讨汉英谚语间对应及变通翻译。
Language conveys culture.Proverb is one of the fruits of language and reflects the culture of a nation.This paper tries to discuss the literal and free translation between Chinese and English proverbs based on their comparisons.
