With the implementation of ISO14001standard in Xiamen Songyu Thermal Power Plant as an example,this paper approaches the significance of implementing ISO14001Standard in thermal power plant ,implementation procedures and the main frame of environment management system,and thus puts forward some relevant suggestions and measures to be taken during certification process,providing reference for other thermal power plants to implement ISO14001Standard.
