On the Rise of Pakistan's MQM and Its Impact

20世纪70~80年代,随着优势地位的丧失和巴基斯坦政治格局转换,穆哈吉尔族群认同强化,逐步走向政治联合。1984年,在齐亚·哈克支持下,巴基斯坦穆哈吉尔运动党(MQM)成立。穆哈吉尔运动党宣称代表穆哈吉尔利益,主张接纳比哈尔人定居信德省,要求建立穆哈吉尔省。穆哈吉尔运动党分割信德的主张以及强烈的暴力倾向对巴基斯坦(尤其是信德省城市)的政治稳定和社会安全构成严重的威胁。

In 1970-1980 s,with the loss of advantage and the transformation of Pakistan's political landscape,Muhajirs began to strengthen ethnic identity and political union. In 1984,under the support of Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq,Muhajir Quami Movement( MQM) established. MQM claimed that it represents the interests of Muhajirs,argues that Biharis should be accepted and settled in Sindh,and Muhajirs province should be established. Because the faith of separatism and the violent characteristics,MQM made a serious impact on Pakistan's( especially in cities,Sindh province,) political stability and social security.
