There is extensive application of Small-scale management information system in small and mediumsized enterprises' daily work. The concept, composition, function of MIS and the method of development using VBA based on Excel is brief introduced in this paper. Use Excel VBA to carry on the software development of small-scale MIS is of great superiority, because of its powerful function and simply operation. It has extensive use in information input, information processing, information output, interface and code design and data protection.
