摘要
二值化是车牌识别系统中图像预处理的关键一步。由于车牌图像摄取环境的多变使得不同光照条件下车牌亮度也不同,这给采用限定阈值二值化算法来进行图像预处理带来了困难。本文通过对车牌灰度图像的特点的分析与研究,提出了一种限定阈值二值化改进算法,即利用遥感图像处理的灰度拉伸技术,使得二值化需要的阈值得到控制。对不同光照下的车牌进行这种优化处理,实验结果表明此算法是快速有效的。
Binary is a key step of image preprocessing in License Plate Recognition system.Because of the inconstant environment,License Plates have varying degrees of sunlight,which makes the Binary Conversion with a definite value much harder.Analysis and research were done to the grey level image of License Plate in this paper,and put forward a solution based on the contrast stretching algorithm in image processing of remote sensing,it's a improved algorithm to the Binary Conversion with a definite value.Also carry out Binary Conversion on images took in different sunlight,the results shows the improved algorithm is quick and effective.
