Multimedia technology is an integration of processing,transmission,storage and playback of text,sound,image and graphics.With the rapid development of society,computer multimedia teaching has become the dominant means in colleges.The combination of multimedia technology and medical teaching will give a tremendous impact on teachers in medical schools.This paper presents an overview of multimedia technology and focuses on its application in teaching in medical colleges.
