摘要
科技英语是以自然科学为题材的一种重要英语文体,但是却没有被给予相应的重视。该文首先对科技英语的教学现状进行分析,强调科技英语课程的重要性,并根据理工科科技英语的特点提出关于教学方法、教学手段、教学模式的改进措施。
English for science and technology(EST) based on natural science theme is an very important English style, but it never obtained the appropriate attention. This article firstly analyses the EST teaching situation, and emphasizes the importance of the study the EST, according to the characteristics about EST, puts forward some improvement measures on teaching method,teaching means, and teaching mode.
