Flipped classroom is a new kind of teaching mode which can be accomplished by students studying independently in class and discussing with teachers and students in class. This paper introduces the implementation process of the course of "database foundation and application", which lists the design stage, pre-class, classroom and after-school tasks. Through the implementation of flipped classroom, students' learning initiative and autonomous learning ability have improved greatly, and have achieved good teaching results.
