Difficulties and Improvements of the Application of VR Technology in Police Education

近年来,伴随科技强警战略的深入实施,VR技术成为公安教育改革发展的重要驱动力。VR技术开始应用于犯罪现场重建、犯罪嫌疑人肖像绘制等方面,不断进入公安实训等复杂程度高、操作性强课程教学过程中。现有研究对VR技术在公安教育中的应用前景进行了多视角分析,对潜在问题的分析却十分鲜见,制约了VR技术在公安教育领域的推广应用。结合VR技术和公安教育的发展现状,VR技术应用于公安实训中存在发展理念模糊、顶层设计缺位、实施基础薄弱等困境,亟待重理VR技术应用发展理念、开展VR技术应用于公安实训中的顶层设计、夯实VR技术在公安实训中的应用基础和防控VR技术应用风险。

In recent years, with the implementation of the strategy of strengthening police by sciences and technology, VR technology has become a driving force of importance for the development of police education-training. In other words, VR technology has been continuously introduced into police training, crime scenes reconstruction, criminal suspect's images drawing and etc. At the same time, there are some research conducted by multi-perspective analysis on the application of VR technology into police education-training. While, there are few studies on the potential problems of the application, which restricts the promotion and application of VR technology in this field. The main problems, such as no unity of concepts of VR technology, no top design, and little foundation must be resolved in the future. With the development of VR technology and police education, we believe that the VR technique will be applied into police education more frequently.
