听力策略研究综述(英文)

An Overview of Listening Strategy Research

随着学习策略研究的不断深入和发展,听力策略研究越来越受到国内外研究人员及语言教师的重视。听力策略的研究大致分为两类:描述性研究和介入性研究。早期的听力策略描述性研究多局限于调查听力强者所使用的策略,以便能对听力学习过程中有困难的学习者提供借鉴。然而,对听力弱者所使用的策略调查表明,听力弱者也使用策略,只是在策略使用的恰当性及策略种类方面与听力强者之间存在差异。与描述性策略研究相比,听力策略介入性研究要少得多,但也出现了不少意义重大的发现。通过策略培训,学习者能明白学习策略的目的和价值,对听力策略的有效性进行评估,并自动地使用某些策略。这些研究结果为今后英语听力教学过程中如何针对不同听力能力的学习者进行策略培训提供了一定的借鉴。

This article is a literature review which seeks to address five aspects of listening strategies:1)Cognitive process of listening;2)Descriptive studies of listening strategies;3)Interventionist studies of listening strategies;4) Listening strategies research in China.With the knowledge about listening,a number of instructional recommendations emerge from what we know about the relationship between learning strategies and listening comprehension.Therefore,the teachers of listening comprehension can help students learn to listen more effectively and efficiently.
