摘要
本文结合华中科技大学研究生英语听说强化教学近几年的教学实践和调查结果,探讨和分析了强化教学中课程大纲的各要素特点以及课程设置原则,包括学习者、课时、教学内容、教材、教学方法以及教师等,并根据问卷调查以及学生自评的结果,对强化教学的效果进行了评估。结论显示,强化教学建立和增强了学习者英语学习的信心和兴趣,从而增强学习者的自主学习能力。文章最后针对现存问题提出了相应的教学建议。
This paper reports on the Intensive English Program for Postgraduates at HUST.Based on a two-year survey of the IEP practice,the paper describes and analyzes the features of the key constituents of the IEP curriculum,in terms of learners,goal,class schedule,course content,teaching and learning materials,methodology,teachers,assessment of students,and evaluation of the program.Finally,some pedagogical suggestions and guidelines on IEP curriculum design are proposed,which will contribute to the development of IEP.
