摘要
社会建构理论提出学习是学习者主动地建构内部心理表征的过程,学生通过意义构建来获取知识.这一学习理论对培养自主的学习者有重要的现实指导意义。在强调学生是认知的主体的同时,不能忽视教师的指导作用.教师要为学生创设良好的学习情境,提供多样化的信息来源,教师是意义建构的帮助者、促进者、支持者、引路人、评价者。本文主要通过对建构主义的理论基础分析来探讨这一理论的形成,并指出这一理论对于外语教学的启示。
Social Constructivism holds that learning is the process of learner's active construction of mental representation.Learners acquire their knowledge through meaning construction.This learning theory plays a very important role in developing learner'autonomy.When we put emphasis on learner's role in the process of learning, we can't deny the teacher's role.Teachers can create appropriate leaning context for learners and provide learners with various learning resources.Teachers are the helpers,directors,supporters,guiders and evaluators of meaning construction.In this thesis,the formation of this theory and the implications for language teaching will be discussed.
