空间观在跨文化交际中的对立和融合

Opposition and Integration of the Views of Space in Intercultural Communication

空间是会说话的语言,同时,不同的文化的人拥有不同的空间观。"空间语言"的运用往往处于无意识的状态中,因此,在跨文化交际中,一种文化背景的人会本能地用自己的"空间语言"去与另一种文化背景的人交际。一方面,当对方并不了解这种空间观时,就可能在交际中出现障碍或者冲突.另一方面,当异文化深入广泛时,两种空间观会出现一定程度的融合,发生"空间位移"。本文试图分析通过几处日常生活中的典型空间中的人际交往,探讨空间观在跨文化交际中的对立和融合,推动跨文化交际的开展。

Space is a kind of spoken language.People in different cultures share various views of space.The performance of'spatial language'often occurs unconsciously.Therefore,a person with a cultural background will communicate naturally in his own'special language'with another person with another cultural background.On one hand,the ignorance of the differences between the views of space will bring about hindrance or conflict;on the other hand,'space displacement'caused by the integration of different views of space may arise after a foreign culture is introduced enough into the native culture.This paper analyzes some typical examples of cross-cultural communication occurred in different spaces,and illustrates the opposition and integration of different views of space with the purpose of more effective intercultural communication.
