摘要
从现当代西方应用语言学的发展可见,其研究方法已由原来的规定性、思辨性的定性研究转向了定性研究与揭示,解释和科学预测的定量研究共用的轨道,其研究内容也是从以前的单视角向多视角转化,而且学科融合的特点日益显著.在此背景之下,国内的异化、归化之争却还停留在语言学或政治文化因素的单视角之内,其研究方法完全是定性研究,研究目的则是为定出法规,因此论述时带有强烈的规定性色彩.本文在指出异化、归化论这一局限的基础上,结合国外描绘翻译学的理论和方法,从新的角度初步探讨了异化、归化论的出路.
Translation studies abroad have now developed into a stage where descriptive studies with the help of quantitative research method from a polysystemic perspective are attaining more popularity.However,the debate on foreignization/domestication still confines itself to qualitative research from a monosystemic perspective and with the purpose of imposing rules on translation practice.With regard to these obvious drawbacks,this paper tends to propose a solution to these from a new perspective under the framework of descriptive translation studies.
