摘要
作为现代语言研究领域主流工具的语料库,为语言学的语言描述和研究带来了一种新的研究思路,而计算机技术进步的介入使语料库能迅速在各个语言研究领域得到实际应用,并显示出强大的生命力.本文主要是针对语料库在与英语相关的三个语言研究领域中的应用进行综述。这些领域包括:传统领域、扩展领域和新兴领域。最后文章对语料库的发展趋势及其局限性进行了探讨。
As an efficient tool for modern language research,the corpus encourages a refreshing perspective for language studies.The participation of more advanced computer technology in corpus research accelerates the application pace of corpus in the various fields with overwhelming vitality.Concerning English linguistic studies which could be applied with various corpora,the article presents a basic introduction of three areas—traditional,extensive,and burgeoning ones.Developmental tendency of corpora and its Limitations are also discussed.
