摘要
"翻译等值"是西方翻译理论中的一个非常重要的概念。自20世纪五六十年代以来,许多翻译理论家均把这一概念作为自己理论体系中的一个重要内容,做过详尽的论述。该理论于20世纪八十年代中期被引入中国翻译界,引起了热烈的讨论。本文从语言学、交际学、翻译学的途径综述了有关西方翻译等值理论的重要观点,尤其对奈达的"动态(功能)对等"作了详细深入的探讨。
Translation equivalence is an important concept in the western translation theories.Since 1950s, many translation theorists have made comprehensive and detailed discussions on this concept.After being introduced into the domestic translation academia in the mid 1980s,it has also given risen to a great deal of heated discussion.This paper summarizes the most important theories about this concept from three approaches, linguistic,communicative,and translational,with great emphasis on Nida's dynamic/functional equivalence.
