The enrichment of Chinese language arises from the abundance of Chinese culture.The allusive words are unique branch of Chinese language system that concentrate the distillate of Chinese culture which the formed in the long history.The allusive words have a great effect on the thinking way of Chinese people. Meanwhile,a flood of allusive words exist in English that distill the western culture.As for people who live in different culture,it is difficult to grasp the associative meaning only through its literal meaning.Cognitive context is rooted in realistic world.Owing to the diversity and infinity of the outer world,the cognitive context is diverse and infinite.Therefore,it is an extremely difficult work for translator to finish.This paper will analyze the differences existing in the process of translation of allusive words.
