多雷和泰特勒翻译原则之比较研究

Dolet’s Translation Principles and Tytler’s Translation Principles: A Comparison

中国翻译理论界,对英国翻译理论家泰特勒提出的翻译三原则已给予了足够的重视和较高的评价。但对于法国翻译理论家多雷及其提出的五项翻译原则尚缺乏相应的肯定。本文对这两位外国翻译家的翻译原则进行了比较,阐述了他们翻译原则的异同点,及其各自产生的社会和理论背景,并在此基础上总结了两者翻译原则的得失,以期对当今译论的发展有所启示。

In the field of translation studies in China,the three laws of translation proposed by Tytler have been paid enough attention to and have won considerable praise. However,the accordingly approval is not given to the principles proposed by Dolet. The present paper attempts to compare the principles proposed by the two scholars,state their similarities and differences as well as analyze the reasons for that. In the end,it comments on the advantages and disadvantages of them respectively,in the hope of shedding some insights on the translation studies today.
