摘要
本文运用定量研究对66名苏州大学非英语专业学生进行了一次问卷调查和词汇-结构测试,并就语块的输入对口语和写作能力的促进作用作了分析。结果表明:①总体上讲,学习者对语块这一词汇习得策略有较强的意识;使用频率也很高;②英语水平高的学习者较之英语水平低的学习者对语块更加敏锐,词汇-结构测验成绩也更高。本研究对如何提高学习者的输入和输出能力有一定的启示。
In order to investigate how students learn vocabulary,the author conducted a questionnaire and administered one vocabulary and structure test among sixty-six non-English majors at Suzhou University by means of quantitative study.Attempting answers to the research questions are as follows:① On the whole,Chinese EFL learners have a strong belief in effects of chunks on vocabulary acquisition and high frequency of such preferences is practiced;② There is high correlation between acquisition of chunks and vocabulary and structure performance.That is,high-achievers pay more attention to chunks in learning and memorizing new vocabulary than low-achievers.This study presents some pedagogical implications on how to enhance learner's abilities of input and output.
