摘要
模因论(memetics)是一种基于新达尔文进化论的观点来解释文化进化规律的新理论。它为语言演变引入了信息复制的观点,揭示了语言发展规律,也为外语教学提供了可供借鉴的理论依据和新的研究思路。本文以Dawkins的文化模因观为理论依据,探讨模因的同化和记忆阶段、表达和传输阶段在英语论文写作教学的各个阶段的具体应用。
Memetics is a new theory based on Darwin's theory of evolution,which can be used to explain the rules of cultural evolution.It not only introduces into linguistic studies a new perspective of information replication,but also reveals the law of language development and sheds new light on language learning and teaching.Based on Dawkins' memetic theory,this paper studies the four stages of meme's lifecycle,ie. assimilation,retention,expression and transmission and their application in the teaching of English academic writing.
