摘要
《回译研究》一书对回译进行了系统的论述。该书作者结合自身经历,详细阐述了回译的定义,确定了回译的模式、原则,制定了回译的规范,并尝试把回译纳入文化关系中进行分析,从而开辟了一方翻译研究的新视野。同时,该书存在的不足之处,如果只是从翻译学的角度进行论述,缺乏新鲜的语料。这也正是我们需要进一步研究的课题。
On Back Translation gives a systematic study on back translation.The author refers to his own experience as a translator,defining back translation,putting forward models and principles of back translation, proposing criteria of it,and trying to study it from a cultural perspective,so that the book opens up a new view on study of translation.At the same time,this book has some shortcomings.For example,it studies back translation merely in terms of translatology and lacks fresh materials,on which we need to carry on further study.
