非英语专业高职学生英语自主学习能力培养途径探究

On Fostering non-English-majors’ Ability of Autonomous Learning in Higher Vocational College

在新的形势要求下,自主学习的培养越来越重要。自主学习成为学生学好英语的一项必要技能。高职英语教学可以从四个方面培养学生的自主学习能力,即倡导自主学习理念,更新师生传统教学观念;改革课堂教学模式,激发学生英语学习兴趣;加强策略指导,落实督促检查;改革测试手段,完善评价制度。英语教师应坚持不懈地努力,培养学生的自主学习能力。

In the new period, fostering students’ ability of autonomous learning is becoming more and more important. Autonomous learning has become a necessary skill in English learning. In higher vocational college English teaching, teachers should foster the students’ ability of autonomous learning from four aspects: advocating the autonomous learning idea and renewing traditional teaching thought; reforming classroom teaching model and inspiring the students’ interest; enhancing the strategy instructions to students and fulfilling the supervision; reforming the means for examinations and evaluation. Teachers of college English should make great efforts continuously in order to foster students’ ability of autonomous learning.
