The View of Marriage in Sikuquanshuzongmu (General Catalogues of Complete Collection of the Four Treasuries)

《四库全书总目》是一部极其重要的学术批评和学术史研究著作,里面收录了大量记载婚俗的作品。这些作品中记载的婚礼是社会民俗事象的重要组成部分,是社会制度对人的地位和作用的规定和认可。本文试图通过对《四库全书总目》中的先秦婚姻观做一点梳理,以便理解婚姻文化的内涵、历史、制度、实践及其在现代社会中的境遇和前景。

Sikuquanshuzongmu (General Catalogues of Complete Collection of the Four Treasuries) is a very important work on academic criticism and academic development research. It contains lots of passages which tell us marriage customs. These marriage customs are also important parts of social folklores, which embody people’s social status entitled by the social system. This paper discusses the view of marriage in Pre-Qin Dynasty in Sikuquanshuzongmu, so as to make it easy to understand the connotation, history, system, practice and prospects of marriage culture.
