Test methods for water leak from diesel engine cylinders are briefed while elaboration is made on a so-calledrubber type test means, as developed by the authors, which is allowed to fulfil cylinder leaking test at either dynamic orstatic state of the engine such that the defect of water pressure test failing to affect under dynamic condition can be remedied,thus being of certain value for introduction.
