Comparative Study of Tobacco Pelleted Seed-bud and Coat-pelleted Seeds

对烟草丸化种芽和包衣丸化种子的对比试验表明 ,丸化种芽较包衣丸化种子出苗时间大幅度缩短 ,出苗率、烟苗素质和整齐程度明显提高 ,抗病能力增强 ,烟叶质量提高 ,产量和产值增加明显。

A new method of the pelleted seed-bud is applied in the treatment of tobacco seed in this research. In the pelleted seed-bud technique, tobacco seeds are budded using a combined physical and chemical treatment. Then the budded seeds are coated and pelleted. Comparing experiments showed that the pelleted and coated seed-bud improved the rate of seedling emergence, quality of seedling, and shorten the time of seedling emergence. The plants from pelleted seed-bud showed stronger disease-resistance, higher quality yield and output value than traditional pelleted seeds.
