生产力决定生产关系,新中国经济落后的基本国情决定了长期发展资本主义经济的必要性;生产关系反作用于生产力,过急、过粗、过快的资本主义工商业的社会主义改造,对于当时中国经济的发展产生了一定的负面影响;生产关系无论何时都应与生产力发展状况相适应。

Productivity determines production relations. Economic backwardness of new China determines the necessity of developing capitalist economy. In turn, production relation reacts to productivity, so too hasty, rough and rapid socialist transformation of capitalist industry and commerce had some negative effect upon China's economic development. Production relation must fit in with the development of productivity.
