摘要
英语主位结构与信息分布规律对英语语篇教学有深远的意义。在教学中 ,我们往往凭直觉来判断语句是否连贯 ,是否具有可接受性 。
This paper examines thematisation and the principle of information distribution in the linear organization of English and tries to analyse how English discourse or text achieves its cohesion and coherence and how information is communicated in the process of thematisation and linearisation. The analysis is magnificent to English discourse teaching which awaits theoretical guidance.
