Professor Peter Borsay and LU Wifang had a very fruitful talk concerning his urban history research career and his current academic thinking and pursuit at his office of Aberystwyth, University of Wales on 7 September 2016. Professor Peter Borsay is a historian of early modern and modern Britain, particularyly social, urban and cultural history and is well-known for his eighteenth century urban Renaissance theory. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society Academy of Social Sciences. Professor Borsay worked at Lampeter and then at Aberystwyth, University of Wales.
