The Problem on the Definition of the Index of Correlation in Nonlinear Regression

对非线性回归相关指数,一般数理统计教科书中出现两种定义方法,本文通过昆虫(粘虫)发育历期的例子论证这两种定义方法都有缺点,并给出一个新的定义,通过分析比较,认为新的定义方法更为合理。

There were two formulas on the definition of nonlinearregression:This paper indicates that both of these defini-tions were not appropriate and provides a new definition. In this paper it is argued that the new definition is more accurate than those two above which are often found in general statistics text books.
