A Study on the Chinese Character Font Recognition Based on Gabor Transforms

在分析汉字字体特征的基础上,介绍了利用Gabor滤波器,通过纹理分析提取全局特征进行汉字字体识别的方法。实验结果表明,这种方法是可行的、有效的。

In this paper,a recognizing method for Chinese character fonts is introduced on the basis of the analysis of font features.It is a global texture analysis based approach using Gabor filters.Experiments are made,and the results are very promising.
