本文证明了M.NEWMAN的猜想对一切包含Γ(2)的Γ=SL(2,Z)的子群成立,这里Γ(2)是由一切符合条件A=Imod2,A6Γ的矩阵A所组成。

In this paper, we prove that the M, Newman’s conjecture is true for all the subgroups of f = SL(2, Z) which contain F(2) where F(2) is consist of matrices A ( A∈ F and A=I mod2 ) .
