A Talk on the Research into the Prose of Ancient China

研究古代散文应该深入地研究古代历史，讲清政治环境、经济生活、社会习尚与散文发展变化的关系，全面准确地评价具体作家作品。

In this paper the author holds that a research on the prose of Ancient China should possess good knowledge of the history of Ancient China and expound the influence of politics, economy and social customs on the development of prose so that the prose writers and their works can be appraised correctly.
