Probe into the Theoretic Bases of Family Planning During the New Period

计划经济“决定”论和“两种生产”理论都难以承担指导我国新形势下计划生育实践的重担，我国计划生育工作仍任重道远。适度人口理论和可持续发展理论是指导我国新形势下计划生育实践的理论基础。

This paper sets forth that it is difficult for both determinism of planned economy and theory of ho kinds of production to guide practice of family planning during the new period. It also confirms that plactice of family planning in China still shoulders heavy responsibilities. And it puts forward and discusses that both theory of optimum population and theory of sustainable development are the theoretical hases of family planning during the new period.
