摘要
以美国航空航天局(NASA)提供的经空间飞行处理的番茄种子(SeaceExposedSeed,SES)和地面对照种子(Earth—basedSeedEBS)为材料,研究了空间飞行对番茄种子发芽力和幼苗生长的作用。结果表明,SES发芽迅速、均匀,其发芽势和发芽率分别比EBS高26.5%和5.3%.表现出较强的发芽力;发芽后5dSES的芽长和根长分别是EBS的2.4倍和2.7倍,活力指数是EBS的4.1倍,表明空间飞行可显著提高番茄种子的活力。
The difference in seed vigor between the space exposed seed (SES)and the earth based seed (EBS) of tomato which provided kindly by NASA was studied comparatively. The SES showed higher germinating potentiality and germinating rate by 26. 5 % and 5. 3 9; as aganist the EBS respectively. Five days after germination, the average root alld bud length of SES were 2. 7 and 2. 4 times longer than that of EBS respectively. the vigor index was also much higher than that of EBS. Thus. the seed- vigor of tomato was increased markedly after flight.
