An Karyology Study of Agkistrodon Halys Brevicaudus

对生活在秦岭地区的蝮蛇短尾亚种（Ａｇｋｉｓｔｒｏｄｏｎ ｈａｌｙｓ ｂｒｅｖｉｃａｕｄｕｓ）的染色体核型进行了研究。

It’s the first time to report the karyotype of Agkistrodon Snake The material is collected in Southern area of Qinling mountains and is identified as A halys brevicaudus It’s found possess a diploid number of 36, 16 of them are macrochromosome, others are microchrosome All chromosome pairs are homomorphics except pair No 4 which is hetermorphic in female only \;
