西部地区高等教育与经济发展水平测度——兼论其协调性

An Analysis of Higher Education Development and Economic Growth in Western China

以西部十二省市区2006和2011年数据为基础,采用因子分析法评价了各省份高等教育和经济的发展水平,利用等级差评定法衡量了二者的协调状态,并通过GIS空间分析法探讨了西部地区高等教育与经济发展水平及协调性的空间分布特征。研究显示:从发展水平看,高等教育与经济发展均呈现由东向西递减的非均衡分布;从整体协调性看,西部地区处于高等教育与经济低水平协调的状态,西南五省的协调性相对较好,内蒙古和甘肃不协调的状况最为突出;从失调类型看,陕西、甘肃、青海高等教育相对超前,内蒙古、广西高等教育明显滞后。基此,有必要确立西部地区高等教育与经济协调发展的内在机制。

This paper,based on the data of the twelve provinces in western China in 2006 and 2011,evaluates the higher education development and economy of each province by factor analysis,which shows the space distribution of the development level and the coordination through GIS spatial analysis.The result shows:1,The development level of higher education and economy in western China appeared gradually weakening from east to west in China;2,The higher education and economy in western China is in the low coordination status,the coordination of five provinces in southwest China is relatively good,and the uncoordinated status of Inner Mongolia and Gansu Province is quite obvious;3,The higher education in Shanxi,Gansu and Qinghai is relatively advanced,and the higher education in Inner Mongolia and Guangxi is obvious backward.In the end,the paper puts forward some suggestions on promoting the coordination development between higher education and economy in western China.
