From Fighter to Sager:The Transformation of Supervision by Public Opinion——Text analysis on the Southern Weekly in the new century

以批评性报道著称的《南方周末》在21世纪以来发生了一定程度的改变。本文通过对2000-2007年《南方周末》的头版头条分析后发现,在报道主题上,《南方周末》开始突出时政新闻和公共新闻;在报道倾向性上,《南方周末》更注重客观中立;在地域范围上,《南方周末》一如既往地成为异地监督的典范。这些转变与当今的社会发展进程息息相关。

Since entering the 21st century,the Southern Weekly,ever celebrated by its criticism report,has been changed its way more or less.Through the deep analysis of the leading articles of this newspaper from 2000 to 2007,it can be seen that the Southern Weekly has started to highlight the importance of politics and public affairs in the reporting theme;and on the tendentious of the rep-ort,it especially pays attention to the objectivity;also,it has been always in the lead place super-vision to other regions.Evidently,these transformations have close relations with the development of society.
