在计算机科技日新月异的今天,人们对信息的需求越来越广泛,人们迫切需要从多方面获得数据。结构不同的数据库即异构数据库的集成成为数据库应用技术的一个重要研究课题。异构数据库是一个既与各种数据库有密切联系,又有别于各种数据库的新领域:它的研究目标是对地理上分布的多个异质数据库,在尽可能少地影响本地自治性的基础上,构造具有用户所需的透明性和全局数据库,以支持对各种数据库的全局应用和各异构数据库之间的信息交换和共享。异构数据的集成作为解决异构数据共享的一种有效方式,是数据库领域的经典问题,广泛存在于目前应用系统中,随着XML技术的兴起和成熟,成为一个研究的热点。

In computer technology todays changing,we demand more and more extensive information,it is an urgent need to get the data from different perspectives.Structure of different databases that the integration of heterogeneous databases into a database application technology is an important research topic.Heterogeneous database is both a close contact with a variety of databases,but also different from the various databases of new areas: its goal is to study the geographical distribution of multiple heterogeneous databases,in as little as possible impact on local autonomy based on the structure with the users need transparency and the global database to support the global application of a variety of databases and the exchange of information between heterogeneous databases and shared.The integration of heterogeneous data to solve the heterogeneous data sharing is an effective way,is a classic problem of the database fields,widely exist in the current application system,with the rise of XML technology,and mature and become a research hotspot.
