My Most Important Advice to Chinese Students Studying in America

A couple of years ago I wrote a series of articles in College English about applying to colleges in the United States. The articles coincided with the time that my own daughter Clare was deciding where to go to college. Clare chose a college and is now a sophomore at Grinnell, so it may be time for me to provide a few thoughts, not about applying to American colleges, but about the four years1 that a student attends an Americancollege.
