20世纪中国文学与《红楼梦》存在着广泛、内在而又深刻的渊源关系 ,它的生成除了直接受益于西方文化和文学的思想观念、价值体系和审美意识外 ,《红楼梦》这个中国文学的集大成者也不可忽视。本文认为 :《红楼梦》对 2 0世纪中国文学来说并不是可有可无的 ,它在个性解放、悲剧精神、女性形象塑造和叙事模式等方面都具有原型和示范的作用 ,这也是 2 0世纪中国文学能够健康的成长起来并取得惊人成就的一个重要原因。同时 ,作者也指出 :2 0世纪中国文学对《红楼梦》是有超越的 。

Chinese literature in the 20 th century has extensive, intrinsic and profound relationships with A Dream of Red Mansion. The growth of Chinese literature in the last century benefited directly from ideological concepts, values and aesthetic sense of Western culture and literature, but the influence of A Dream of Red Mansion, the greatest work in which all the previous literary achievements were synthesized and brought to their highest development, should not be underestimated. In the opinion of the author, A Dream of Red Mansion was indispensable for the development of Chinese literature in the 20 th century. It serves as both a prototype and an example in emancipation of the individual, tragic spirit, feminine imagery and modes of narration, which is one of the main reasons why the Chinese literature grew in a healthy way and scored astonishing achievements. Meanwhile, the paper points out the negative influences of the novel which, in the view of the author, should not be ignored.
