Objective To investigate the clinical significance of low voltage(100 KV)scanning technique in CT angiography for reducing radiation dose. Methods TA total of 300 patients admitted to our hospital for CTA examination from June 2011 to December 2015 were randomly divided into group A(134 cases) and group B(166 cases). Group A is the low voltage group(100 kV), and group B is the normal voltage group(120 kV).and tube current was 450 m As. The radiation dose and vascular image quality of CTA were compared between the two groups. Results Both groups of images could meet the diagnosis requirements. The radiation dose of group A was significantly lower than that of group B(P<0.05). Conclusion CTA imaging with low voltage can effectively reduce the radiation dose of patients under the premise of ensuring image quality.
