The word'Wukuai'is a common word in Han and Jin Dynasty.Scholars in ancient and modern times argue about its meaning, someone think of'Wu County and Kuaiji County',or'city',or'Wuyue',or'Sun Wu'.In fact,in different historical periods and different linguistic environments,'Wu Hui'has different meanings and cannot be understood as a whole. There was no'Wukuai'in the early Han Dynasty. It was mostly called'Wu and Kuaiji'as'Wu County'and'Kuaiji County'.After the separation of Wu County from Kuaiji County in the Middle Eastern Han Dynasty, the word'Wukuai'gradually took the place of the two counties. In the late Han Dynasty of Jian’an period,'Wukuai'was used to refer to'Jiangdong'.In the Three Kingdoms and the early Western Jin Dynasty, people of Wei and Jin Dynasties used'Wukuai'to refer to the regime of Sun Wu.
