和谐:一种具有世界普遍意义的价值理念

Harmony:A Value Idea with Worldwide Universal Significance

本文对"和""谐"及"和谐"的含义做了阐述,提出"和谐"为人们提供了处理人际、国际关系的良好范式,可以成为具有世界普遍意义的价值理念。因为"和"以差异为前提,只有差异性的共存,才有"和"的存在;差异性必然要求每个个体包括个人、民族乃至国家的自我实现,即要将其所具有的最本真性质转变成现实存在;而"谐"则强调差异性的谐和、有序,旨在强调人际、国际间的圆融、无碍。因此,建立在"仁爱"基础上的"和谐"价值理念,才能真正肯定世界不同国家、不同民族的本真特性,建构起"差异相通"的"和谐"国际社会。

This paper discusses the conception of Chinese character'he'and 'xie',together as the meaning of harmony.I propose that the idea of harmony can provide us a mode for building up a kind personal and international relationship.The idea of harmony presupposes in the first place the idea of differentiation.Such an idea demands different individuals and states to achieve their full potential according to their unique characters.On the other hand,harmony indicates that different entities could live in peace with each other and benefit from the co-existence.As such,the idea of harmony that is based on the Confucian conception of humanity could provide us a ground for establishing agood relationship between different ethnics,culture and states.
