社会主义核心价值观之“平等”

On “Equality” of Socialist Core Values

作为社会主义核心价值观的"平等",是社会主义的本质特征,是社会发展的内在要求。"平等"是指人们在政治、经济、法律、社会、文化等方面,具有相等的身份、地位、人格、尊严,拥有相等的权利、责任、义务,享有相等的机会、资源、成果。它包括政治平等、经济平等、法律平等、社会平等、文化平等,意味着人人都能在政治上平等参与、经济上共同富裕、法律上一视同仁、社会上公平竞争、文化上共建共享。要实现全面、实质上的平等,必须克服"不患寡而患不均"的观念,坚持以经济建设为中心,大力发展生产力,同时,将平等原则落实到政治、经济、法律、社会、文化等各个层面。

As the socialist core values,'equality'is the essential characteristic of socialism.'Equality' is meant to those who in the political,economic,legal,social,cultural and the other aspects,not only have equal status,personality,dignity,rights,responsibilities,obligations,but also have equal opportunities,resources and achievements. 'Equality'involves political equality,economic equality,legal equality,social equality and cultural equality as well as meaning that everyone can participate in political equality,economic prosperity,law equally,fair competition,cultural sharing. At the same time,it is the inherent requirement of social development.To achieve a comprehensive and substantive equality, we must to overcome'inequality'concept,as long as focusing on economic construction,developing vigorously the productive forces as soon as we can.In the meantime,it also means we should put the principle of equality in all aspects of political,economic,legal,social,cultural and other areas.
