Confucius started to set up aprivate school,showing the image of a kind and lovable 'old Confucian professor' for posterity.Confucius emphasized enlightenment and showed deep cultural anxiety.In order to prevent the orthodoxy of Zhou Wen from collapse,Confucius,in his later years,was diligent in collating and revising the traditional literature,which is a clear proof.He,who made a great contribution to the cultural down-transferring,enrolled disciples extensively and cultivated a group of sages with a mission to practice Taoism.These disciples became the main force to inherit traditional culture.In his practice of teaching,Confucius had a unique understanding of the connotation,the purpose and the value of enlightenment,so his selection of teaching materials and teaching methods were of pioneering significance.
