针对火电厂多媒体教学 ,根据建构主义学习理论 ,讨论了如何运用基于静态图像的虚拟现实技术 ,建立火电厂的实景对象、柱面全景和由各视点柱面全景构成的虚拟现实场景 ,并用 WWW浏览器通过 Intranet/ Internet网络对其进行浏览 ,使学习者置身于虚拟现实的空间中 ,达到与现场教学相同的效果 ,从而为火电厂多媒体远程教学提供了新的途径 .

The way to use the new Virtual Reality (VR) technology in power plant instruction is discussed according to the constructivism learning theory. Establishing objects, cylindrical panorama image and scenic views of a power plant and browsing in Internet Explorer provide learners with a virtual reality scene and also have a perfect teaching effect, so a new way is pioneered for the multimedia distance learning about power plant.
